Fireside Family Restaurant & Lounge in Ellendale

Went on a whim, looking for a place to eat while my car was getting fixed. Found this place food was ok but didn't order and thing special either but the staff was great the atmosphere was nice and looked like it could be very romantic in the evening. I would go back and check it out may be look fir some thing unique or see what the specials are. Definitely stop in.

Food was really good. The waitress my husband and i had seemed very inexperience but The host was very nice. We visited on Christmas Eve morning for breakfast. The food came out faster than expected but was very fresh! Cozy atatmosphere. We will be returning.

I thoroughly enjoy the food here and the service is great. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I have never had to wait to be seated even though it's a smaller restaurant, which is nice. I would definitely recommend this place if you haven't been yet. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice.

This place is literally among the best diners I've been too and the times I've gone there has been hardly any customers which I don't understand because their food is absoultely outstanding would absolutely recommend to anyone anytime this place is great!

Large portions, service very good, price average. Not very well lit for breakfast but dark atmosphere probably nice for dinner. Older decor. Overall good foid but not great. Hot day, lots of flies, not something that any restaurant can control in summer but it did take away from enjoying my breakfast.

Four of us met for breakfast at the Fireside Family Restaurant. All of us enjoyed everything very much. The food was served fast but the atmosphere was never “rushed.” Our server was very pleasant and so helpful. Each of us got exactly what we ordered and the food was great. All things considered, it was a really nice experience! I’m sure we’ll be back!

This is one of the better Breakfast locations in Gloucester County. Actually the entire menu Lunch and Dinner has great options also. The staff is always available and personable. Do not forget the Winslow Diner in Sicklerville, NJ 08081 in Camden County. Two great places for any time just for leisure dining or that special occasion, that I will also offer 5 stars.

Was in the area for a college visit to Rowan and stopped for breakfast with my mom. Very nice broccoli and feta omelette. Decor is quaint and service is attentive. Decent coffee. Nice place worth stopping by.

This is a wonderful place to eat. First it is spic and span clean! Secondly the wait staff are always friendly and accommodating. And thirdly , the food is delicious. I am a regular there and intend to continue to be. I feel like family!

It's American Diner. Friendly staff and clean . It's easy to see from the road and has a large menu. Great for kids and groups. No reservations required. Table services and public restrooms. Tips are required . You can just go for coffee and dessert. Highchair, handicap parking and entry. Great for dinning alone and small plate share. No alcohol no BYOB

This place is great. Always great food. We have been here a dozen times for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything is always delicious. Huge selection here too, something for everyone. This place is like a hidden gem for us, our go-to every time we go out.

They’ve made some changes that are really nice. The decor was updated & looks fresh & bright. The best part is the menu. It’s been completely revamped with great selections. They have a lot of choices for vegetarians as well. I ordered the pasta primavera & it was awesome! The vegetables & pasta were perfectly cooked. There was so much I brought half home. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger which was perfectly prepared & served with very nice steak fries. We took a piece of coconut cake to my father & he said it was delicious.The staff is very nice & attentive but not overbearing. They’re very pleasant & kind.The prices were reasonable & affordable. This restaurant is definitely on our list of favorites!

Quick cheap and pretty tasty, the decor left a bit to be desired but we came for food and they delivered.

My family went to this place for some good food, and we saw the rating and we were hooked. But the food was below average the service felt and was very rushed. My son ordered a burger and the appearance did not look satisfactory and it was just bad my son said. The environment was all right. My wife ordered some avocados and French toast the avocados were over ripe and the French toast was stale. The hungry person breakfast was ok. Overall our $32 experience could have been used on a chain restaurant like Panera were we know the ingredients are good.

Nice, friendly and clean! Prices are average and food is tasty. Service was helpful and accommodating. Will surely be back.

Fireside Restaurant is a very quaint & warm atmosphere, it's a very friendly restaurant with great food... The staff are friendly and courteous .. It may be small but it packs a punch..

Our first try. The service was.... dismal. I am always the first to praise a place as someone who spent years in the food service industry. I know it's hard. Nobody was smiling. My grits tasted like broccoli? As if the water had been re-used. Not a good look. I got biscuits and gravy. The gravy was phenomenal! The biscuits weren't cooked all the way. The jelly I tried to use for my toast was molded and fermented. I can't say I'll be back. The bathrooms were delightfully clean! But. Once was enough for me.

The website and seeing it from the road doesn't do this place justice- def go in and check out! We'll be back:)

The atmosphere was great, our waitress wonderful. But i didn't like the coffee even when i asked for a fresh cup. My creamed chipped beef could have some more beef in it. My son said his pancakes were mealy.

My family and I just had one of the BEST MEALS we have eaten together. All of us enjoyed our food. I had the lemon-pepper chicken and I was BLOWN away. I’m raving, I’m raving about it right now! Seriously eat here, NOW!

This place is so nice and friendly. Our waitress was very sweet to usUpdate: my friend and I are pretty sick and brought our own tissue box in. We left without the box and rushed back. Our server had kept them in case we came back for them. Again, very sweet

The food is fantastic and there's plenty of it...it's clean the waitresses and waiters are very nice very polite they know their menu... and the price is very very reasonable... The manager is there to assist you... She does a fabulous job
